Monsters – Main Street Winter Haven

We are excited to announce – Main Street Monsters 2026

This month-long scavenger hunt will be held in Downtown Winter Haven beginning July 1st.

Main Street Monsters is a FREE event where families are invited to find the hidden friendly monster murals scattered throughout Downtown. This exciting event combines art and technology by engaging kids 12 and under in a creative,

interactive way, while promoting local businesses and fostering a sense of community.

Here’s how the event works:

1. Small murals featuring adorable, friendly monsters will be carefully hidden throughout Downtown Winter Haven. Our monsters love Downtown, so you will only find them between 1st Street & US 17/6th Street, and they are not allowed to pass Avenue D SW or Lake Silver.
2. Use your smartphone or tablet to scan the QR code next to each monster you find.
3. On the page, you will “check in” with each monster and discover playful details about them. We encourage you to upload selfies with the monsters so we can post them on our social media!
4. If you would like to enter to win the scavenger hunt, you must find and “check in” with at least 8 of the monsters.
5. Main Street Winter Haven will host a live video on our Facebook page announcing the winner on August 3rd at 2 PM!

Main Street Monsters promises a month of excitement for young explorers. So grab your devices, gather your friends and family, and get ready to embark on an adventure as you search for the hidden monster murals in Downtown Winter Haven. Let the hunt begin!
